The games that followed Tomb Raider were Tomb Raider II, Tomb Raider III, The Last Revelation, Chronicles and Angel of Darkness. For Ms Croft, this happened a half dozen times often once a year. They're basically the same game with one or two new additions, a slight graphical upgrade, and a new plot which will hit all the same notes as the first. This is something I often see in sequels from the 1990's and very early 2000's. Now, while I'll be the first to admit that there is something of an overarching plot that runs through the first six games, I'll also tell you that it's hardly worth mentioning. You climb/solve/shoot any obstacles/puzzles/enemies in your way to achieving this objective. You're an archaeologist, who apparently went to the Indiana Jones school of site excavation, and your job is to rob graves for any ancient/mystical artifacts contained within.
